These injections are given once a week and they work by mimicking hormones that target areas of the brain involved in regulating appetite and food intake. This can help you eat less, which leads to weight loss.

Dr. Barrueta requests everyone's labs before we start you on it - we'll give you a free script for labs if you don't have any current labs available. She requires baseline labs and a thorough medical history to make sure this weight loss medication is right for you. She adjusts your dose weekly based on your progress and how you feel. She is constantly checking up on all her patients to make sure they are not experiencing side effects. She keeps you at the lowest effective dose, so you don't experience side effects on it. Pricing for Semaglutide Compounded Without Sodium

Weekly medspa injections:

• 0.25mg or 0.50mg injection at the medspa weekly - $62. Each additional 0.25mg above 0.50mg is an additional $31 dollars. A weekly dose of 0.75mg (30units) would be $93.
  

Vial shipped to your home:

• 2.5mg/ml, 1ml vial, total 2.5mg - $372

Includes:

• Starting vial will last you 7 to 10 weeks.
• If your maintenance dose is then 0.25mg per week, one vial will last you 10 weeks.
  
• If your maintenace dose is then 0.5mg per week, one vial will last you 5 weeks.
• We call in the insulin syringes to your pharmacy or you can get 10 syringes for $20 at our medspa.
• Zofran anti-nausea prescription.
