EYELID REJUVENATION TREATMENTS
Can you believe Dr. Barrueta did this incredible transformation without surgery?
This client was thinking of doing eyelid surgery but couldn't afford it and she couldn't take so many weeks off work. So she decided to do a variety of non-surgical eyelid rejuvenation treatments that Dr. Barrueta recommended during her initial consultation.
The before picture was taken during that initial consultation in December 2022 before any procedures were performed.
The after picture was taken at our med spa in Oct 2023, which was one month after her last eyelid filler treatment.
Timeline of what was done on this patient:
1. Mid-Dec 2022 - A Morpheus8 microneedling with radiofrequency treatment to the upper and lower eyelids.
2. Feb 2023 - A Plexr Plasma Pen treatment to the upper & lower eyelids.
3. April 2023 - Temple filler.
4. May 2023 - Dysport to the upper eyelids, eyebrows and crow's feet and micro doses of Botox to the lower eyelids.
5. Sept 2023 - A hyaluronic acid filler injected into the lower eyelid, lateral eyelid and tear troughs.
With patience and time and by giving fibroblasts dermal cells enough time to create collagen & elastin, nonsurgical options can result in amazing results, as seen here.
What each treatment did:
🔹️Morpheus8 thickened her dermis by stimulating fibroblasts to create more dermis and dermal proteins.
🔹️The Plexr Plasma Pen vaporized some of her fine lines and simultaneously stimulated her fibroblasts to start creating more collagen.
🔹️Temple filler raised her upper lateral eyebrow, which had lost structural support.
🔹️Lower eyelid filler replaced the tissue volume loss that occurs with aging.
🔹️Eyebrow and Eyelid Dysport and Botox helped relax her eyelid muscles and helped open up her eyes to give her a younger-looking appearance.
Aging doesn't stop. So to maintain these results thus patient will need touch-ups every 6 to 12 months of some of these procedures.
